I just want to know whether I should charge the newly-bought phone or not. Nothing on the manual says it has to be initially charged for a specific number of hours. but a lot of people are telling me it has to be initially charged.

would anyone know for sure here?
help pls!

Make it more specific. At first the phone can power on, and then the battery dry out. Should I finish the charge when it shows the charging is complete or just charge it for more hours?

Charge it up. No need to drain it down all the way.

Charging is very important for a new product. Done in a right way, the battery will last long, otherwise it drains out quickly. I didn't charge my laptop in a proper way for the first few times, so my battery is really bad. Every time I think of this, I feel so regretful.

It seems that all the electronic products should be charged for more than 10 hours to activate its battery.
