I had upgraded to the blackberry tour for sprint when it first came out but then lost it within a month. I have found it now after reporting it lost and paying a $50 deductible to assurion insurance. Now my brother isn't eligible for an upgrade till next year february and i would love to give him this phone as a present. Now my question is will there be a problem in me giving him this phone since i reported it lost? can i give it to him and can he activate without having a problem? his birthday is in a few weeks so this would not only save me some money but also make him quite happy since he is in love with my phone. any information given would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance
