Just a question,cause no one seems to talk bout 6100,so is it a bad phone?Nokia 6610 better?

Hey mate, don't feel depressed. N6610 is generally more popular because of various points. N6610 is much cheaper than the N6100. This is the primary reason. For other reasons, better check up with JamesLast who owns a 6610 and compare your phone with his. BTW, the 6100 is a very good phone. No pun intended.

Yes, the 6610 was much cheaper when both phones were new. I've paid for my 6610 150 Euro with contract in February 2003, the 6100 was more expensive (don't know the price, but it was much higher).
Now you can get both phones for free with a new contract.
And the only differences:
6610 has Radio
6100 has Electronic Wallet function (whatever it means)
6100 is smaller and lighter
They are both not outdated yet, but they are both for sure for the next year good enough. I'll get a new phone in 2005 when I expand my contract, won't buy a new one before. Why should I? I'll get a good new phone that day for a good price.

Hmm thanks for the replies,yeah i guess i would get Nokia 6100,i would forgo the radio feature cause i don't use it much.

1. It's cheap because it's really outdated... the 3660 is coming.
2. not everybody need a phone with so many features.

If the radio feature is not high on your list of priorities, go in for the 6100. The form factor of the 6100 is just too f***ing amazing. The extra dough you pay for the small form factor is well worth it.
I bought the 6610 only because of the radio feature, thinking that I would be using it very regularly. However, now, because of a shift in the preferences of the local radio station here, I am regretting my decision of not having for the 6100.
Don't mistake me, I am very very very satisfied with the 6610, which I can say is the best buy I have ever made.
