hey all! i'm so frustated!! i just purchased a new e715 with t-mobile. i took a couple of pictures and noticed that i couldnt send them to my friends that has camera phones and also has t-mobile. an error messege always came up saying that my picture can only be sent as text. then when my friend tried sending me a picture i got a messege saying that my phone can only recieve text messeges. this is so frustrating!!!! what is going on? grrrrrr! why would they make an option on the phone to send pictures when it doesnt even work! i tried changing the MMS setting to what you guys said on the beggining of this disscusion and still it doesnt wok. is the settings diffeent if you're in a different state or something? i live in san francisco and my carrier is t-mobile. can someone PLEASE help me out. i want to send picture messeges. i did a search on this and someone said that i have to subscible to t-mobile's picture messeges and it's like 4.99 a month for 20 pictures and an additional .25 cent if you pass the 20 limit. is that true? cuz if it is then i'm gonna flip out. thanx for listening to my problem guys! =)

Hi Guys
I live in sydney australia and im with vodafone.
i recently brought a T-mobile samsung e715 mobile off ebay from Hong Kong.
I have trouble with the mms features. for some reason, i can send mms but cannot retrieve them. i recieve a the mms in my inbox, but when i got to retrieve it (since auto-retrieve failed) it says processing failed.
I called vodafone up and they said it was because of the t-mobile/tzone software built into the phone.
I read the previous post, i am able to change the gprs profile to the vodafone one using *#87927#.
with *387667#, i can select the vodafone mms profile, but when i exit the settings, it doesnt get saved and its back to the T-mobile settings (first slot). So what I did was edit the T-mobile profile (first slot) and changed the settings to the vodafone one.
ie:
Profile Name: Vodafone PXT
Connection URL: http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend
Security: Non-Secure
IP Address: 10.202.2.60
usename: *blank*
Password: *blank*
APN: live.vodafone.com
i was sure this was to work, but it didnt.
what should i do?
how come I can send mms but cannot recieve them?
how can i remove all the T-mobile settings off my entire phone?
please tell me that i dont have to flash it, because i been reading about flashing your phone and its sounds very complicated and risky. and i dont have the cable to do it, if u do need a cable.
Please Help ASAP.
thanks

Hi,
I have same problem as HyoLee - can send but can't received (failed to retrieve). But more than that, since I was too silly setting up several times with Optus & Voldafone, my samsung E715 top screen now appears an 'allien' icon - like a window with 6 quares! and does not show on the manual at all.
Can some one with IT mind please help me to delete all MMS & WAP settings AND the funny icon also. The network people said 'can't help because this is US phone'. Is there any way to set it work in Australia?
Please help. Thank a million! You can email me at mefong_0160@hotmail.com. Once again, thank a lot!

Hi Kambo,
I tried your method, but still can't get rid of the funny icon on top of the screen - like a window with 6 squares, not show on the manual.
And still can't open the received MMS (failed to retrieve). I am not smart with mobile so can you please instruct me step by step. My mail address is mefong_0160@hotmail.com.
It would be greatly appreciated if you can help me to sort this out.
Regards,
meefong
