i just bought the e715 with T-Mobile posted all over it. I am in Sydney and since the phone is not out here yet they don't seem to be able to help me with setting up wap/gprs/mms. I have tried this code "*#87927#" to access the settings.. will entering the settings here enable me to send picture messages/wap/gprs? or is there another way? Can I get rid of T-mobile settings? If someone could please help that would be great!
Thanks in advanced.

*#vswap# will get you the menu where you can enter GPRS WAP settings that will allow you to browse the internet on your cell phone.
To be able to send pictures you will need to configure your MMS settings. Enter *#vsmms# to access the MMS configuration menu and enter the MMS settings of your carrier. You can send pictures if your carrier supports Multimedia Messaging - most do - some don't !

you can use other wap/gprs settings if you do not want to use t-zones. you can use csd wap settings also. it just uses your minutes since it's like dial-up service on a pc. do a search on howardforums.com under samsung or samsumg faq forums. as long as you have nationwide service with t-mo, you shouldn't be charged for any minute usage during night or weekends. but you can not use mms without t-zones, not sure about other service providers. good luck!

For all Melbourne Optus users with a Samsung E715, type this into your phone to bring up the menu to enter the GPRS+WAP settings:
*#87927# or *#VSWAP#
to open the mms settings menu, type in
*#87667# or *#VSMMS#
and put in the following settings:

Hi all. I have samsung E-715 and as all others it T-MOBILE's. I confgured my wap settings and MMS setings. My WAP is working but there's a problem with the MMS. I hear that the bulgarian GSM operator does not support MMS for samsing E-715 is that possible? The other thing I want to ask is how can I download games? When I d/w games it says the format is not supported... When I go to new games it's not working also.... how can I fix it? It's the same with "new MEGA TONES" and "new WALLPAPERS".
One more thing.. can I remove the sound from the capture? Cause I want to remove the sound when I take pictures...
Thanks!

Hi I recently got a samsung e715 from overseas and can't seem to get the WAP and MMS to work! I read the settings provided on this site for the 2 functions, tried them and still it doesn't work! Does anyone have any idea why and what I can try to get them to work?
I called optus and they said they don't have e715 listed on the network!
