I am trying to use a newly purchased Ngage as an MP3 player. I have done exactly as described in the manual - installed Audio Manager, rebooted, attached the phone via USB, rebooted again, then it all goes wrong. According to the manual I should be able to then see the phone as a device from Windows Explorer but I cannot. I'm using XP SP1 (fully patched) , which reports the phone as a USB mass storage device and claims it is working properly but it is not. Obviously when I start Audio Manager it shows No Device Connected so its not possible to get any music onto the phone. If I stop the device in the "safely remove hardware" dialog box, then reconnect via USB, it connects then I get the ding-dong for a second time and it has again disconnected itself of its own accord. Any suggestions or assistance anyone can offer would be very much appreciated.

I have similar problem
but I use My Computer to access
the best solution is buy a card reader, then transfer directly to MMC

i get the same problem kinda, ive installed everything but when i connect my pc using the usb connection in the right ports, my computer just doesnt detect it? whats up with tht?

 I got the same problem. here's what i did. I went to Windows task manager and end tasked all program running except for explorer and systray the tried to sync again. guess what it worked!!!!!

Yes -- thats exactly the problem that I am encoutering. My PC doesn't recognize the Phone. In the Audio Manager -- it has NO device attached
Can an expert help!

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP -- I'D REALLY LIKE TO START ADDING THINGS TO MY PHONE BUT MY PC DOESN'T RECOGNIZE ME PHONE!
