ok. i had a similar problem. go into your bluetooth program (whatever program that you have that came with your bluetooth adapter) and create a serial connection. then turn that serial connection on. if you haven't changed any settings in FMA it should still be set to use a serial connection. turn on FMA and hit connect. it should work. mine did. haven't had a problem with it since.

Your connecting with the USB Data cable then i assume? When i set mine up i had to enable a port within the Sony Ericsson software that came with the phone because it was disabled by default. Off the top of my head im not sure where that is as i am work but hunt around through those settings and it should be around there somewhere...

if you open you bluetooth program, your phone should be in there. right click on it and it should give you the option to create a serial connection. i don't know what program came with your adapter so thats all the help i can be. just look around your program. it's there somewhere.

I havent actually managed to get bluetooth working with Float yet. I have in the past looked at the connection properties of the phone in the bluetooth software and copied it into Float but it didnt seem to work. I just use the default Bluetooth software that came with my TDK device. It lets me view and transfer files across which is all i need anyway!

well open your tdk software and look for "add bluetooth connection" and add a serial connection. then go into float and go into the option and choose to use the serial connection. it'll be your third choice to use. then hit connect in float. that should be it.
