Has anyone used the SE Z600 on the Cingular network?
I'm looking to buy it 'cause it looks like an awesome phone, but I want to make sure someone has had good experience with it.

its not an assumption...z600 works on 900/1800/1900 network and cingular doesnt support any of those...they may be releasing a z608 for the 850 networks but i might be wrong

Cingular supports 1900.
I called customer service after I posted this thread... they say the SE z200 and z600 will, in fact, work on their network.

Phone is very cool, with lots of features. However, it freezes once in a while ( like a computer ) and the only thing you can do is pull out the battery.
As for whether it will work on Cingular, almost all of the phones in the US have come direct from S/E , meaning they are not locked to a specific carrier.
( the phone was never picked up by any carrier ), allowing them to work on any GSM network in the world.

Feature-wise, the phone has everything I want and then some. It annoys me that there are a bunch of nice phones by a few companies that none of the US carriers pick up and sell.
Worse case scenario is if I don't like the performance on Cingular, I'll put it on eBay.

Need help with setting up WAP and Internet on my new Z600 on Cingular. Tried through Cingular and SE website, but still doesn't work. What do I need to do ? Thanks for your help !

I called sprint to find out about blue tooth phones...they said they had some crappy P608 real ugly looking...when I saw this camera I thought it was beautiful....but there is no way they say to get it onto the network...does any one know if this is true or not? any info would be great...my email is imasexxistud@gmail.com
