hey all. my phone was working perfectly after i flashed it (about 2-3 months ago) and i recently gave it to my aunt but today she gave it back asking me to fix it. the screen is all white and blank and i cant see a thing! i press the btutons and i hear them working but still nothing is being shown.. any solutions??? thanx

i also tried flashing it and its still the same. it will make callls but nothing is showing except for a white screen

Try taking battery out for 30 secs then replace then flash it, with one of the earlest Firmware like B2 or A2 then after complete see what happens then flash to the Firmware you want.

the same things happend to my fone the screens gone white btu i still do stuff just nto see it!!! any one know how to fix itor wots wrong n wot do u mean by flashing it n how do u do that?

There are two codes you can use to lower the brightnes on the display.
*#9998*523#
then press the down arrow untill you have reached you desired brightness.
or the code I prefer.
*2767*3855#
Be sure to backup your phone numbers, taken photos and any downloaded ringtones/wallpapers before using this code!!! Because this code does a FULL RESET of all your phones settings!!!
You should also know your wap/mms settings or at least know how to have your service provider send them to your phone for you. Most have a link on their site for that.
If you are in north america you may need to change the band width back to 1900 after restarting as well.

Hey heu ,
I have been facin the same problem.
i have a Samsung E715 with Tmobile, ... and like all of a sudden it brightened up on me (ive had it for more than a year llike a month more) and so
i tired both ur codes,
the 1st one just showed numbers but it didntt work , it just decreased the brighteness for a sec like a bit thought , not that significant ,.. and when u exit the thing, it just showd the screen heellla bright again
The 2nd one resetted the phone , and i started the phone again . setted the mode . but the Screen is stilll realllly really bright .. the code didnt work
ive tried restartin it , resettin it , n all
have any other suggestions ?

bad thing about those older e710/5's
The only answer I've found for this phone is to replace the display.............sorry
