I have installed LG Contents Bank Version 2.0 (3.0.0.1001-44-71) downloaded from LG web site
Connexion by serial cable
Unknown error
Does the software is bugged or I have missed something ??
Is there an other version which works correctly ?

Sounds similar to my problem!! Purchased a Targus USB port adaptor to plug phone into Toshiba Satellite 1900 notebookbecause there was no compatible port for the phone cable supplied.
Cannot activate PC sync to allow downloads of ring tones & pictures to phone via LG contents bankV2.1. Cannot seem to identify com port.
If any body's out there, HELP!!!

But there is a solution.
10,000 memory stick transfer devices were made in order to "debugg" the system. They work. But come at a price of $200. I advise to sell the phone and go for one like a t610!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Latest software including downloading photo's can be found here.
Don't forget to first UNINSTALL the current version. It won't work otherwise.

I have uninstalled last version,
I have install the version you indicate
That's the same, impossible to transfert photos from LG to computer. (button is here, but unchecked.)
Do you know if there can have different version from one country to another.
Can it be a LG bios problem, or can it be locked by operator when they sell the LG ?
I'm in France.

right.. so how.. can we solve this problem.. i have a 7100 and i have the same error... i dl the program.. and after that.. nothing... why isn't it working? it's really frustrating!
