In the end, I'd like to say that I would have have preferred the Z600 over the Mpx200 (v700). What do you say?

Well, I own both phones .... verdict, 50/50
Overall, I suppose the SE is the more functional phone. The UI is simple, the comms ports work universally (bluetooth and infrared), the internal antenna makes it look nicer I think.
The motorola however, has a better camera, better a/v support (plays videos and mp3), it feels better in the hand - well weighted. This might sound silly but it also hangs better round the neck on a lanyard as the fixing point is central on the phone, against SE's corner tag. The phone has outlook sync, more memory, better display, faster response when taking pics or navigating menus.
What lets the motorola down and for me makes the SE a better phone is connectivity. I have had the SE since October 2003 and the V600 since Feb 2004. The SE would talk to any device via bluetooth/infra red (apart from Nokias which are always funny). I struggle to browse the V600 through my iPAQ4150 or any of my desktop machines or laptops using either a WIDCOMM or MSI bluetooth key. The V600 doesnt seem to have any easy way (not that I can find) to upload games/apps.
Like someone else said before, give me a VZ1200
