is there a difference? i have t-mobile and they only offer the 610. AT&T has the 610, but i dont really want to switch carriers unless one is substantially better. thanks

the only difference is the low end frequency of 850 vs 900. Just a difference in the two carriers that use these different frequency's. No other difference's in the phones besides that.

The only difference is the change in frequency band as mentioned earlier. The other difference is the price since the T616 is slightly more costlier than the T610.

Different capacitors, resistors... Few other different parts as the two phones are made in different countries. One is made in Malaysia, the other is made in China. The T616 has a much better antenna. The T616 firmware is developed by a different team than the T610 firmware. The T616 gets much better reception on the 1900 frequency than the T610.
