@ Don:
Version 3.08 of Agere Service Tools.
Some weird characters in a warning dialog box (yellow square with '!'). Then program starts, but: "Cannot connect with phone"... This happens when I click i.e. Test mode button.
COM port is correct (EasyGPRS does work). No difference if I switch cable to Data or D/L.
Do you have any suggestion?

Unlock with the *2767*688 followed by your imei
after the rebot, try
*0141# then GREEN
worked for me

Ok, I got it working finally
- Use Samsung Agere Service Tools 3.08.
- Connect your phone to the datacable and switch the cable to D/L.
- Power off the phone.
- Power on the phone and leave it at the 'enter PIN' message.
- Now hit the Unlock button.
If everything is correct, the message 'unlock success' should be displayed in the title bar of the program.
If it doesn't work, try the Unlock button a couple more times.

Hello, my SamsungE820 was locked to TMOBILE, how can i unlock it ?
the screen shows 'enter password' with 'network locked' on the top.

E820 require different software then e710 and different cabel

got the agare tools but get cannot connect to phone, trying to change imei number my phone is a samsung e710 that i bought abroad and it dont work in uk.
Anyone got any tips on changing the imei number...

Just want to say a big thanks !,, I received my E710 today which I bought from eBay locked to Vodaphone, followed this and Wham  !
Unlocked it to my Virgin account.
Thanks ! 
One thing, after entering my imei No, I had to press # and also had to leave off the /202 from the end of the code.

Thought it was too good to be true. As soon as you turn it off the phone sets to WRONG CARD aagin ?
