OK, followed by this
Unlock with the *2767*688 followed by your imei
after the rebot, try
*0141# then GREEN
And works fine, Turn off, turn on still unlocked.
Thanks !

dude,
you need just the first 14 digits of your imei. drop the last three then repeat the process and everything should be cool.

it's very simple actually first press *#06# to show your imei nr. write this down. Now put in the simcard for which you would like the phone to unlock. Now when it gave the sim error type *2767*688 followed by your imei number. The screen will go grey, doesnt matter just wait for a moment, now the phone will reset. and it's unlocked!
Good luck! |
Just want to say a big thanks !,, I received my E710 today which I bought from eBay locked to Vodaphone, followed this and Wham !
Unlocked it to my Virgin account.
Thanks !
Hi I done your 0141 bit and it worked.I turned of the phone and now its asking for a password??????????
One thing, after entering my imei No, I had to press # and also had to leave off the /202 from the end of the code. |

Hi there! I am a newb...
I have used the above instructions to unlock my vodafone samsung e710 to Virgin (in the UK). Have also done the *1041#Green to personalise it with my Virgin sim card still in it. and it worked.
But when i re-insert my original Vodafone sim card, it asks for a password? the suggested #*7337# does not work because I can't enter any symbols. After a few attempts, it shows "Wrong card" again, and i now have to unlock my phone in order to use my original Vodafone sim card. I've done that now. and my Virgin card doesn't work anymore.
my question is that: is it true that even if I have unlocked the phone, I can only unlock it to 1 other network, and stick with it? and if i want to use other network, i will have to unlock the phone to that network again?
Is there a limit to how many times i can unlock my phone this way? I read somewhere that it's only 5 times before i "hard lock" the phone, what does that mean?
I am planning to use my mobile overseas and therefore will need my samsung be able to work with all network, i.e. back to my original Vodafone, my Virgin and my yet-to-decide overseas network. and switch in between as I travel.
Many thanks!!
Mary
