I read reviews that the Motorola T730 (Verizon) is a "flimsy" phone and is plasticky and the cover slides from side to side.
Can any owners of the T730 confirm this? Thanks.

I own a T730 phone, I wouldn't call it flimsy, and I really like the phone. The only problems I've had was exterior LCD screen cracked when I bumped into something with it clipped to my belt.
I purchased a new screen through EBAY though for $35 including shipping.

I own the T730. I have had it for about two months. It is anything but flimsy. Friends have had their hinges brake off the lids of much more expensive phones and some cracking. I have hit mine several times and open the lid on an hourly basis and have had no problems.

Mine works very well however the plastic at the hinge rubs and makes a noise the other party can hear. I may try to lube the hinge but not sure that will do it.

I've had my T730 for 3 1/2 mos. now without any problems. The replies are correct, there isn't anything flimsy about the phone. I had the T720 for nearly 2 yrs. before it just died all the sudden at exactly 2 weeks before contract was up. Never had any problems with it until then either. The only thing I wished was that volume was louder. It is sometimes hard to hear over a diesel engine. And the fact that you have to use a motorola headset to use answer/end button feature.
