do i have to have my own website in order to be able to download the polyphonics onto my celly? i have no idea how to use the xitami... i created the files, even edited the xitami.cfg for it to support my mmf files but thats about all i understand. i could really use a bit more detailed explanation on how to do this...[/b]

I tried the 1st thing here and am unable to do it. at times i could get the link but still gives me an error.
I have a nokia 3586i (almost idential to 3588)
4 chanels or something
and i keep getting error 406: Not Acceptable
I click on Details and then it says 1015: Invalid Content Type
Im really trying to figure out how to get my own tones on my phone and backgrounds.
I have my own server (webpage) on my comp and running apache
i didn't download the prog up top i figure apache should be fine.
I made the .htaccess file with the info in it. also the index.xhtml file
i put the image(bmp) in the wap dir with teh index and .htaccess files as well i tried a mid file and named it in the correct spot in the index file and then i bring up the link on my phone and then i get the error.
please respond here or my email i would LOVE to get this figured out cause i dont want to pay $50 CAN for a cable to get my info from the comp when i can use my server

We have done the work for you - visit euploader.com. Here you can upload files to our wapserver for free.
The files are protected by id and code, so nobody but you are able to download the files

yeah, you can use -edited- too. upload there and use the id for download. it's free
