I'm going to be purchasing a new plan in a few weeks and was wondering anyone knew of any new phones that TMobile would be adding to their lineup. I am interested in the SonyEricsson T300 but have read about the T310 - is it likely that the T310 will make it to US markets in the near future? How about a replacement for the Nokia 3390? I've read bad things about the Motorolla C332's battery - should I stay away from that phone? I welcome any comments!

I know T-Mobile has been pushing the Samsung V205 and Nokia 3650 in their commercials, but aside from that I'm clueless as well.

I am an indirect dealer so I have used all of the T-Mobile phones briefly. Here is what I think about each
Moto C332- Neat phone at first, lots of features for a cheap phone. There are already about 5 issues with the phone that T-Mobile knows about but its not bad enough to recall. This phone will be the next Motorola T193. If you dont know, that means they will sell millions of them and about 8 months later the phone starts falling apart.
Samsung R225- nice looking phone- not many reatures. The one feature T-Mobile pushes for it (AIM) is slow to use on a phone
Nokia 3390-Still making it. Its a dependable but old phone
Ericsson T68 or T300- Although they are great phones, I dont like them for 1 small reason. I hate the clicking noise all Ericssons make after you press the send button to make a call. I know its a small detail but it gets on my nerves. Good looking color screens
Nokia 3650-Wow. Lots of features like the Video messenging but man is it big. If you like features.. get it. Not too expensive at $300. I really dont like the keypad layout.
Samsung S105- My favorite. Ive used it for 4 months and I wouldnt have any other phone. great battery life
Samsung V205- amazing screen- amazing ringers- too bad they dropped some things from the S105 like games and the like. Greaqt but a little pricey. battery life isnt too good. better get a car charger
Moto V60 or V66 nice phones but too expensive considering you can even download a ringtone to either one
Moto 720- dont waste your money. this phone is too expensive for how flimsy it feels. The camera is weak and grainy. nice screen though. Screen savers look like this phone was made for 12 yr old girls
Danger Sidekick- great mobile device. black and white version is hard to come by. They stopped production to make the color version which will not be out for a few months. It should be about the same price ($300) too. The drawbacks are the side of the sidekick and the lower amount of minutes available on the plans. You do get unlimited internet access with the plans(but just for the first year). The scrolling wheel has a defect in it.. hopefully this will be fixed in the color version
The best phones in my opinion are the Samsung S105, Samsung V205,Danger Sidekick in that order. Hope this gives you a little insight into the phones. These are just my opinions though. Let me know who agrees or disagrees.

By The Way, You can turn of that click noice made by the SE T300. I had a T300 on T-Mobile US before I moved to the UK, Great Phone, Great Deal. Now, of course I'm waiting for the UK Release of the T610.
My Suggestion, is get a cheap phone, then wait a year till the phones are like a trillion times better. The colour phones have just been around for about a year, and still needs a short while before it really is worth paying extra for it. IE, my T300 has only 256 colours, but the T610 will have 64000 (estimate) colour display.
And of all the colour phones, SE has the best menu system, easy to use phone. Samsungs are difficult to use phones in my opinion. And Nokia's just look weird.
Hope my views can be of some help, can't wait to hear from all the people that agree and disagree with my findings

The c332 is awful. I had it for about 6 months. Big mistake. I replaced it a few days ago with the Nokia 6610. I really like it so far. If you are starting a new contract you should be able to get a decent phone for not too much money. Don't get the 332 or any motorola for that matter. I've had two over the years. The 6610 is my second Nokia. Nokias are far superior to Motorola. I don't really know anything personally about the samsungs but i hear they are nice.

Unless you live in the UK, i recommend that you don't purchase t-mobile...they're service is litterarly (according to statistics) the worst in the U.S. (even sprint is usually better). If you have t-mobile in your area you probably have cingular...get them . The only place t-mobile works well is in connecticut...where i live (northern NJ) not only does the phone have crappy recption, but it also misses calls and usually says "call failed."
I really don't know that much about the pros and cons of those phones so i can't say anything about the phones....

T-Mobile works great in my area.
Plus, if you shop the internet you can usually find the phones you want for free or better.
I bought my two new phones (one for me and one for my wife), and after the rebates come in I'll have made $50. I only paid $199.99 for my 3650 and got a $150 rebate from T-Mobile and will also get a $25 and a $50 rebate from the company I ordered from. I also only paid $124.99 for my wife's T722i and will get $100 back from T-Mobile as well as $50 back from the reseller.

I have the 3595, a step above the 3560. I got the phone for $50 bucks for lengthening my plan (upgrading). I like t-mobile, except for the fact that they do not have rollover minutes. The phone is great - color LCD, polyphonic ringtones, etc.
Check to see what the reception is in your area. I know in GA, there are some problems, but for the most part, things are all right.

T-Mobile works well in New York City (see another post)
I chose moto T722i so I can use all the peripherals from T720 (Verizon), but I think I am stupid
but now I found T722i is reliable, under heavy workload (8-9 hours everyday use as GPRS modem) for a month and survived
I should get SE T610 or n3650, but I have to buy and setup bt, on the other hand, though, I like flip phone better, that protects the screen from scratching, and buttons from mis-operation
