I think Data Cable is not enough for Unlocking. It must be connected to some bigger hardware infrastructures  ...
I can actually recommend Cingucell.com for all mobile unlock needs! I am using them for my own mobiles... (I am a Cell dealer), You'll be amazed..

Actually as far as I know there are no codes for the US versions of LG for unlocking, the only option is by cables and softwares via PC...
You may try Cingucell.com if you don't have your own!

The way you described on your forum... works for LG 510, 510M and 70xx series.. but not sure on 40xx series... |
You're right!
LG 40XX models CANNOT be Unlocked by codes SO FAR!
You may try www.Cingucell.com for you Mobile unlocking needs... IM using them as well!

I sent my LG G4011 phone for unlocking last week to Cingucell by USPS express. I have not received it yet ! Any idea when do they normally send it back. There seems no way to contact them. I have tried all options. Please help

Have you heard back from cingucell yet?? I am in the same boat with them. I verified they accepted my package from usps, but they never updated their website. I have talked to the people there by email and phone. They say they will get back to me, but they haven't. It has now been 6 days since I last heard from them and now I can't get ahold of anyone there by phone or email. I even have the main guys home # and everything. Just to let you know some info:
The guy known as SPYISRA going through and posting about cingucell.com is actually the MAIN GUY AT CINGUCELL. His name is Yasreal Spitz. I have talked to him and he claims he is only a agent of cingucell. Really, then why is his name listed as CEO when I look up cingucell's credentials with VOIP? I am pretty convinced at this point that cingucell is only one guy pretending to be a full company. All phone #'s are routed to his phone, which he conveniently doesn't answer any more.

sorry for viewing your posts about me so late. maybe you'll also see it one day.
I did work for the unlocking team [with only two more ppl], and all phones has been returned to their respective owners and 99% was successfully unlocked or the paid amount was refunded + shipping costs.
I am still wondering about your claims that nobody replied to your email when we usually did.
Our company domain was lately taken over by a new management and is now primarily providing VoIP & other telecommunication services.
