Phone Model: Motorola T720 & V600
Service Provider: Cingular |

I ported from Qwest (Qrap) to Cingular and got the Motorola T720 in the process. I'ld love to upgrade to the V600. Anyone know if Cingular will be offering any type of trade-in or trade-up deals? I already had to pony up $50 (after rebates) for this T720. The last thing I want to do is fork out another $300+ for a V600.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks fellas!

Your not gonna have much luck getting a discount on the new phone.
The nearest time Cingular will probably be able to give you a discount will be 18-21 months into the contract.
If you have had your phone less then 15 days, you can usually take it back, (under there buyers remorse policy) and get a new phone at the going new contract discount. Otherwise you most likely will be shelling out full retail for the V600

You also need to realize that if you do upgrade your telephone after 18 months, you will have to extend your contract, generally for another two years. Or pay $100 more for the phone you want.
My wife didn't realize that when she upgraded her phone in January 2003, so we're stuck with Cingular for another year.
