Im not a man that likes to run his mouth.
All I will say is that the Motorola V300 was worth my time and long grueling quest to find the holy grail of phones.
As you know, Motorola fell off the cellfone competition truck many years ago.
However,
This v300 is their "we're back, you other manufacturers can kiss our ass"... model.
They had a lot to prove to the industry, namely the highly educated consumer.
I hope this perception was useful.

I just got my new V300 today and well I have to say. HELL YEA! It was well worth the 214 bucks for this phone. No more ghetto phones for me!
By the way, anyone know where I could get more and better HiFi Ringers at?!

I dont think any phone is worth a 200+ price tag, unless you just have that kind of money laying around. But I too was in your same situation and for 2 months I called all the T-mobile stores in my area untill I found a guy willing to let me have it on the upgrade. So in short, dont wait on T-mobile customer care to restock the V300 because it wont happen, and secondly keep calling your local stores and be nice about it because its the managers decision whether or not you can get that phone on an upgrade.

The V300 has the following features that the E715 don't have:
Voice Dialing
Voice Memo (recording notes for oneself)
Tri-Band Phone
Longer talk time and standby
THe E715 has the flash, while the V300 doesn't... But the flash is USELESS!!!

the E715 does have voice memo. It's better because it supports MMF and you can make better ringtones with that. The v300's tones are also quieter.

I bought my v300 yesterday from Circuit City and it was 199.99 and had a $200 rebate (I made a penny!!). It's only for their three day sale and there are only a couple of boxes of v300s at each store, but Circuit City has sales like that every few weeks with certain phones.
I think the three day sale ends tommorow (Saturday). Good luck.

I don't see the big deal, it's free in all the shops in the city, and like $100 on ebay. Plus all the phones depend on the service.

We just bought 2 phones, 1 of them is the one you are looking to get if you havn't already.
We picked it up tuesday at circuit city for only .01 penny.. now of course this is after mail in rebates, she actually bought it for $200 and the mail in rebates she will get it for a penny.. a few of the mail in rebates, like 2 for her phone you have to wait till you get your first bill, just to let you know then you can send them out.
