I switched from AT&T TDMA in 11/2003, & I have not looked back since. Verizons network is spectacular in my neck of the woods...

Don't hesistate on this switch any longer. I have had both and there is no competition between the two. Leave AT &T as soon as you can and switch to Verizon. I love it and it is the only service I have used that I liked. I've used AT & T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon. Verizon is by far the best!

I too have been with aT&T for the past five years. I am looking to switch to Verizon for two reasons, cheaper and better service.

AT&T has been very questionable in their billing lately. I don't understand how AT&T can compete when Verizon is listed by Consumer Reporrts as providing the best service in most major cities and charges much less for the service. Also, I don't know how the Cingular deal will affect AT&T customers (i.e., will they offer rollover minutes, etc.).

It is easy to understand why AT&T is having to sell to the competition - they can't compete and are very arrogant.

I would also agree. Verizon's coverage is excellent.

Better them then AT&T i had them just one month were i live and they were horrible so yes i would switch to verizon. But these are the probelms with Verizon

1. Their CS has gone REALLY DOWN HILL over the last 2-3 years they used to be the best now i hate dealing with Verizon CS.

2. Their serivce has also gone down hill, overloaded cell towers more busy signals and other probelms. I used to have perfect service 2-3 years ago now i get ALOT more busy signals and lower reception were i used to have perfect reception and signal is more erratic.

But even with these probelms Verizon is the best carrier the second best is Cingular GSM icon_biggrin.gif

This reply is to BKK- I work for VZW in SO CAL, if you have notice that your
phone is not working as well as it has in the past, take into one of our retail stores
and we can look at it.

opps to bad i cancalled my service... icon_razz.gif I got fed up with Verizon i had total epiment coverage and they said it was the phone also it was my first time that i had to replace a bad phone in 2 years. But they wouldn't replace it saying that i would have to pay full retail price and all of that bs. I now have Cingular GSM and it rocks! I love my new service when my phone breaks they replace it no questions (up to 2 a year) and their service is just as good or better then Verizon in my area. i am glad i switched.
