Does one of the owners of the Nokia 6600 know how to deactivate the Nokia sound that comes while switching on the mobile?
Many thanks!

3 solutions:
1- Choose the Silent mode
2- Disable the beeps (will shut down the cam noise too)
3- Delete the file Startup.mid in the Z disk (not the best solution, I advice you to not try this!)

Dont think that's possible. Z: is the ROM, and all files in it have a 'Read Only' status.

Thanks a lot!
Unfortunately, the silence mode is not really convenient for me.
Well, I’ve disabled the beeps (on the general mode) but it still plays that sound at the beginning. (Maybe the question is which beeps should I disable?)
The only stuff I found is that as soon as you touch the joystick, it stops the sound.
Any other thoughts?

For the joystick it's normal, you just skip the animation and the sound.
Not the keypad beeps should be disable, the other one!
PS: I'm sorry but I don't know the name of the other beeps in english!
