I have a T610 (T-Mobile US) and my friend has a T616 (AT&T). Our phones are connected using Bluetooth. My friend took a picture with his T616 and he was able to beam it to my phone using the "send to bluetooth" command. However it seems that my phone (T610) does have that command. Any idea why? Has the command been removed at the request of T-Mobile to force me to use their T-Zone?
I just got the phone last week so I figure that I must have the latest firware although I have no idea where to find the version number.

The sw version of my phone is R1S001 prgCSC12-5600_US_3. That sounds old. Isn't the current version R4... ? Could it be different for the US?

To find your version number, from standby screen (not locked, not screensaver) press:
> * < < * < *
where < or > is left or right on the 5-way navigation button.
Then choose Service info, SW information.
This hint has been posted numerous time by many people.
About your bluetooth command, it could be that T-mobile is responsible. Not sure though...

So.. you cant do this:
Goto: Pictures & Sounds / My pictures / (select your picture) "more" button, and then select "send" and then scroll down to Bluetooth......?
I hate to say it but if you can't do this then It don't matter what the firmware revision is as all T610's had Bluetooth and they all had that facility.
Thank your wonderfull Carrier for removing that facility and forcing you to use T-Zones. I had a Sharp GX10 on the Vodafone network in the UK and the same crap was going on. Rule number one - NEVER buy a specific operator fone if you can avoid it!
Sounds like bad news dude!... Haydo..
