Hi
Maybe I can help out. I have an IrDA adapter that is labelled an ES 620. After much searching an attempted installations I found something in Spanish mention the MA 620. I downloaded the drivers for this and it installed perfectly! Maybe there's a mis-labelling issue.
Hope this link can help you out!

(Device drivers for MA620 are near the bottom.)
cheers

Hi Mates
There are 2 type of irda adapters labelled ma 620 and es 620.
the ma 620 works fine with all phones (tested on Nokia, All Samsung, Sonyericsson...) and it is based on a chip labelled ma620.
The second one es620 don't work with samsung (for nokia it is Ok) and internally it is based on the PL-2303 chip Usb to serial adapter.
I think the driver for Pl 2303 usb to irda is fake
Best regards

Just bought a ES620 IrDA off eBay and can't for the life of me get it to work.
Does anyone have this model, or know if it's compatible with the E700?
The software it came with wouldn't auto-run, but I've installed the XP driver and have d/l Easy Studio. Easy Studio always appears offline and there seems no option to switch to IrDA in the drop down setup menu.
If it is compatible, could someone give me a simple, step by step instruction on how to start working with this thing |
hey I have that same problem that you. So you must change your irda connection speed in windows settings not in program. Click right mouse button on your active irda connection and choose preference go to last page press preference on your irda adapter. In irda window choose advanced setting and change Maximum connection speed to 9600 and test again :] Now Must Work.
any questions ? atomic-rev@o2.pl
