I live in US.
I keep wondering why in terms of the latest & greatest Nokia phones, US is always behind everybody else? Any idea?

Nokia is a european country, so it's quite easy to release their phones first here and since Europe and Asia use the same GSM frequencies, it's easy to sell them into Asia too

There r different operating frequencies in the US. Also the market isnt as large as Europe and Asia combined. Different frequency means new fone and more money into R&D. So they like to watch any newly released fone's response in Asia/Europe first and then release it there.
Also, a lot of people buy the tri-band fones meant for Eur/Asia as the 1900 freq is also in use there. So wen nokia release a better version of the model in the US, people buy that 2 and in the end Nokia ends up witheven more money.

US is lucky hommie,,
they get to beta test those phones before we get them *if you actualy look at it in that respect*
they call nokia and say my phone does this or that... they fix that bug and then we usualy get a less buggy device..

Good Music: well, most of the good music comes from the US
DVDs: Kidding? Some movies come to european cinemas when they are released in the US on DVD... and the movie industry is wondering why everybody downloads movies...
Books: well... yes, Europe has some of the greatest authors
