guys

I live in US.
I keep wondering why in terms of the latest & greatest Nokia phones, US is always behind everybody else? Any idea?

Nokia is a european country, so it's quite easy to release their phones first here icon_biggrin.gif and since Europe and Asia use the same GSM frequencies, it's easy to sell them into Asia too icon_cool.gif

There r different operating frequencies in the US. Also the market isnt as large as Europe and Asia combined. Different frequency means new fone and more money into R&D. So they like to watch any newly released fone's response in Asia/Europe first and then release it there.
Also, a lot of people buy the tri-band fones meant for Eur/Asia as the 1900 freq is also in use there. So wen nokia release a better version of the model in the US, people buy that 2 and in the end Nokia ends up witheven more money. icon_biggrin.gif

they call nokia and say my phone does this or that... they fix that bug and then we usualy get a less buggy device..
