X600 Problems / Questions - FEEL FREE TO ADD TO THESE

Hey, recently bought a new X600 in place of my broken V200, and i have a few questions about it which are puzzling me.

1) Why can you not assign DOWNLOADED ringtones to a PhoneBook Group instead of just the Default ones?

2) Why can you not assign specific text message alerts to the PhoneBook Groups?

3) Does the phone support operating logos? V200 had support for one, which could be turned on and off in the settings.

4) Why is the "flash" not actually a flash?!?! it is simply a kind of LED torch!

5) The screen seems a LOT less crisp and clear that the V200's - why is this?

6) Why is the size limit on ringtones set at 32kb? This is really annoying after using a V200 with a 40kb limit

7) The preset games - i only had two Java games installed, and these were not the ones advertised. I downloaded the Bowling game but i cant see the action bars at the bottom to determine swerve and power etc

8) Any body got a list of codes or tricks for the X600?

9) Do i HAVE to purchase a E700 data cable? i cant get my V200 cable to work

10) You can only pick a few of the available colours to the LED for the service light - why is this? there are some great colours which cant be selected as service light combinations.

11) Why can you not use a ringtone (downloaded or default) as an alarm tone? The ones on the phone are useless and wouldnt wake anyone!

12) LAST OF ALL - WILL SOMEONE RELEASE NEW FIRMWARE FOR THIS PHONE THAT FIXES MOST (OR ALL) OF THE ABOVE PROBLEMS (ESPECIALLY 1 & 2)????? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

13) PS Are most of these problems also present in the E700 and X100?

Please feel free to add annoying points or ideas for new firmware options for this phone!

I know i seem picky, just some of these options should be standard

1, 2, 3, : That's the fault of the company who made the firmware or samsung gave them wrong instructions,
4 : I guess a real flash would suck the life out of your batt.
5 : The V200 has a TFT Screen the X600 has a UFB and TFT is better thats why.
6 : Same answer as 1, 2, 3
7 : The standard games are somewhere in the funbox search for it or read your manual it already has bowling.

9 : You don't HAVE to buy a e700 data cable you only need a cable if your going to flash your phone to send pics and tones you can use a IR adaptor.

11 : Modify your firmware.
12 : Maybe there already is one try flashing to the latest one.
13 : E700, X100, S500 and the rest that works with the same cable.

cheers for ur help, cleared up a few problems, but the games definitely arent there. I have searched for firmware, can anyone point me in the direction of the newest X600 firmware?

found the firmware, missed it first time around. do i still need to get an E700 cable for flashing? or will the V200 cable work?

You need the E700 Cable yes.

ok cheers m8, do u recommend the USB or serial one? found a few of each on ebay. Also, why are the firmware downloads so slow from the "Firmware and Flashers" thread in here? i got the latest one to download, but the archive was invalid. do u know where i can get the firmware from? which of the Flashers should i use - is it downloader?

sorry for all these questions, just cant seem to find the answers to these questions!

Ebay is freaky try to find the cable in a shop cause most of the cables don't work. And i have no idea why its so slow i have no idea why only 10kb of 40 is in use. Try using a download accelarator.

i cant find it anywhere else on the net. If someone has it can they please send me it! PLEASE IM BEGGING!
