Has anyone figured out yet why the T68i crashes after a few calls, where The phone reads "Calling" but refuses to connect, and the only way out of this is to remove the battery and start all over again. I am now on my my third exchange phone (with the latest software) under guarantee, but the problem still persists, I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. Trying to contact S/E about this is useless.

Haven't tried a reset yet although someone els suggested this to me, not a total reset but a Network reset, it seems this is nothing to do with the phone but a network problem. I took the phone back to my service provider this week and they did something on their end, since then no problems, but I will have to wait for a few more days and see if it is cured.

I haven't had any crashes -- at least not yet. I do often get the "Calling" hangup while the phone tries to connect. It's happened using the headset, speed dial and dialing the numbers. It usually works fine when I re-dial, but it is an annoyance.

Ok phone has been as good as gold for the last six or seven days since I took it in to A1. I don't really know what they did, as it was something they fooled around with on the service providers central office computer, I think it must have been a reset or something on my SIM from their end, all we did (the service provider tech. in the shop) was switch the phone off for five minuets (instructions from central office) and then switch it back on again, since then no problems, it certainly was not a signal problem as that is very good round here. My advice is if you have this problem go to the service provider and ask. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't come back, but I think its fixed, another couple of weeks will tell.

I may add that my phone crashed two or three times a day before this.

I was having the hanging "calling" syndrome on my T68i with T-Mobile. It didn't crash, but would say "calling" for about 10 seconds before disconnecting. Someone on another forum suggested the following. It's easy and, so far, seems to be working. Good luck!
Go to Connect > GSM Networks > Search Mode > Manual.
According to the guy who suggested it, the AT&T GSM network was screwing up the phone as it searched for the network. Manually selecting the T-Mobile network bypasses the search, and thus the confusion.
Don't know if this works in reverse, i.e., the T-Mobile network is throwing off a phone on the AT&T network. It's worth a shot either way.
As I said, it seems to be working for me. Hope it works for the rest of you.

I get the same thing. My phone hasn't crashed that often though it does once in a while. PITA. Other than that I love it. Bluetooth ROCKS.
