At a press conference today, SE lauunched 3 new phones aimed at different segments of the market. The new phones are S700, K700 and Z500.

man i saw some of these pics on hofo too. man that s700 is rather sexy but i might get that z500 cuz it'll probably be cheaper...plus i already know z500 will work w/ cingular cuz it works on 850

The specs for the K700 are given in another post in this thread.
The K700 will be released next month while the S700 should be available by Q4.

Boy, these phones are just Gggreeaaattt!!!
Video recording has been one of the features missing in mid range phones frm So-Eri.
Great to see they have incorporated this feature now.
Will these phones be avilable in India? Sony Eric India ahs so far no info.
My pick?? wht else but S700!!!

The K700 should be available from Salora International in the last week of April or atleast by mid May. This is probably gonna be my next phone. Hence, I will wait till the 1st week of May for procuring the phone in India. Otherwise, I will get it from Dubai. Don't expect the other 2 phones to be released before Q3/4 in India.

z500 is supposed to come to US in Q3 2004...close to christmas "hey i got my list ready right here :points to z500:" any expectation on what the price is gonna be and if mobiledia will write a preview on this one?

Yup, a preview should be out towards the end of the month. The first one to come under the microscope is the K700. The exact pricing has not been revealed as yet.

so if the rest of the world ses the K700 in april, you can expect australia to see it in 2005 
we only just got the T630
